GARDEN CITY, Kan. – In its 27th year, the historic Tumbleweed Festival taking place August 24 – 26, is set to bring four stages of entertainment to the west green of the Lee Richardson Zoo, including Country music hitmakers Jerrod Niemann and Rick Trevino. In addition, patrons will enjoy the sights and sounds of families enjoying food, music and children’s activities — everything ranging from arts and crafts to face painting to roving performers and balloon animals to LEGO tables to festival and carnival food galore!
Patrons are invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting for what locals call the “highlight event of the year”.
