WhiskeyChick’s Take

This is the last-minute push, y’all. If Born & Raised has been sitting in the “maybe” column on your festival calendar, it is time to make a decision. Limited tickets are still out there, campsites are still available, and this lineup is absolutely built for the fans who like their country a little louder, dirtier and farther outside the Nashville lines.

I’ll be live on the field covering the wilder side at Rocklahoma next weekend, so stay tuned to Country Music On Tour for a sneak peek at the festival grounds and a preview of what to expect when we come back to Pryor for Born & Raised. This is one of the biggest independently-run outlaw country and red dirt weekends of the year, and camping is a huge part of the experience. Do not wait until you’re packing the truck to figure out where you’re sleeping.

Born & Raised hits Pryor September 17-19, with the Honky Tonk Kick-Off getting things rolling September 16. Get your tickets and campsite through the official Born & Raised website, or check trusted partner StubHub for tickets, then get ready for one hell of an Oklahoma weekend.
