G Fest announces new artists to 2017 line-up

G Fest Muskogee continues to announce exciting new artists performing at this year’s festival, June 15 through June 17 at Hatbox Field in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Today, G Fest Muskogee announced seven more artists: Creedence Clearwater Revisited, California Honeydrops, Ricochet, Byron Berline Band, Nicnos, and Mike Hosty. New this year, G Fest will host an EDM party featuring Candyland.

These artist join previously announced artists: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Blackberry Smoke, J.J. Grey and MoFro, The Mavericks, Ben and Noel Haggard and the Strangers, The Swon Brothers, Kentucky Headhunters, Milton Patton, Becky Hobbs, John Fullbright, and Leon: The Tribute (Leon Russell Tribute Show).

“With this latest artist announcement, we hope to share that there’s something at G Fest 2017 for all music fans, said Jim Blair, executive director of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. “With more announcements forthcoming, we encourage everyone to buy their tickets soon so they are the first to hear what’s coming next.”

Building on the success of its inaugural year in 2016, G Fest Muskogee returns June 15-17 for three nights of music, camping and entertainment. Bands take the main stage at 3:30 p.m. with headliners going on at 10:00 p.m. each of the three evenings. Other stages throughout the venue begin as early as 1:00 p.m. Headliners will be released at an upcoming date.  

General Admission tickets are available for $89, and VIP Reserved Seating and VIP Party Pit tickets for $299 for a limited time. VIP Reserved Seating and VIP Party Pit gives ticket-holders access to a exclusive areas to the sides and directly in front of the stage, parking, designated bathrooms and a separate bar. For fans wanting the true G Fest experience, primitive camping is available starting at $80 and RV camping starting at $325. Tickets are on sale now!

G Fest 2017 is funded through a joint effort by the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) and The City of Muskogee Foundation. Net proceeds of the event will be used to further the mission of the OMHOF and further develop the infrastructure of the Hatbox complex for future festivals.
