Garth Brooks has officially announced the first of his 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour, marking a full-scale return to the arenas that helped define his legendary live career. The tour begins with two nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on August 21 and 22. Official tickets go on sale July 17 through Ticketmaster, and we’ll continue updating this page with additional tour dates the moment we receive them.

Fresh off his history-making, sold-out performance at London’s Hyde Park, Brooks is bringing back the iconic Drum Pod that helped redefine arena concerts in the 1990s. The Blame It All On My Roots Tour also serves as the foundation for Killer Live, a new live recording project that continues his tradition of capturing landmark performances in real time. Brooks says returning to arenas brings a level of intimacy that makes every seat a great seat while giving fans the chance to experience the songs where they first became larger than life.

WhiskeyChick’s Take
If there’s one thing Garth Brooks has never done, it’s follow the industry’s playbook. Long before arena-rock production became the norm in country music, he was packing arenas with a massive live show that changed expectations for every artist who came after him. He’s also never been afraid to go against the grain, whether that meant resisting streaming platforms for years or becoming his own media outlet instead of relying on traditional promotion.
Years ago, Garth stepped away from the nonstop superstar schedule to put his family first while his daughters were growing up. Now that they’re adults, it feels like he’s entering another fascinating chapter. I think these arena tours are only the beginning. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot more intimate road shows, special events, and speaking engagements alongside the blockbuster tours.
Another storyline worth watching is the reported interest in his music catalog. If Garth ultimately sells those rights, it could mean a significant financial boost for whatever comes next. It could also introduce his music to an entirely new generation if a new owner expands streaming availability and creates the kind of social media momentum that many fans have been waiting years to see. However it unfolds, Garth Brooks has built a career by doing things his own way, and history suggests his next move will be just as interesting as his last.
