Lyle Lovett will return to the stage in late January for his first live shows since the pandemic began. The acoustic tour features more than two dozen gigs in theatres and performing art centers throughout the Southeastern U.S.
The tour promises to feature an “up close, living-room listening experience,” with a setlist that includes stripped-down arrangements of classics from Lovett’s catalogue and a preview of tunes from his upcoming album due out in May on Verve Records, according to a release via American Songwriter.
In March, Lovett will release a 30th anniversary edition of his album Joshua Judges Ruth on vinyl.
