Kenny Chesney appears to be preparing a massive 2027 stadium tour, and the latest clues strongly suggest Eric Church could be joining him on the road. An official announcement has not been made yet, but Chesney and multiple stadiums are teasing dates for next year, with more details expected Tuesday, September 15. The clues started when major stadiums around the country posted invitations to the “Vibe Room,” a concept closely associated with Chesney’s Sphere residency in Las Vegas. The stadium posts included 2027 dates and Chesney’s familiar palm tree and guitar imagery. Then Chesney added another clue that included “EFC,” widely interpreted as a reference to Eric Church. Other apparent clues point toward Sheryl Crow, Old Dominion and Greylan James, although none of those artists have been officially confirmed for the tour.
Ticket information, presale dates and on-sale times have not been announced. Once the tour becomes official, fans should expect ticketing information through the participating stadiums and major platforms such as Ticketmaster, with resale inventory eventually appearing through SeatGeek, StubHub and VividSeats. Given the size of the venues being teased and the possibility of Chesney and Church sharing a bill again, this could become one of the biggest country ticket releases of 2027.

August 8, 2027 – East Rutherford, NJ – MetLife Stadium
August 28, 2027 – Foxborough, MA – Gillette Stadium

The Eric Church speculation has some serious history behind it. Church toured with Chesney on the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour and returned for dates on Chesney’s 2015 The Big Revival Tour. The two reunited again in June 2026 when Church made a surprise appearance during Chesney’s Sphere residency, joining him for “When I See This Bar” before performing “Drink In My Hand” and “Springsteen.” Chesney’s official site described Church as a good friend and special surprise guest.

This one has all the fingerprints of a major Kenny Chesney stadium run, and the Eric Church clue is a little too specific to ignore. Until the official announcement lands, we are keeping “Eric Church joins Kenny Chesney” firmly in the rumor column, but EFC showing up in Chesney’s own teaser makes this a lot more interesting than random fan speculation.
And if those other clues really do mean Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Old Dominion and Greylan James, we’re looking at Kenny reaching back through different chapters of his touring history and building one monster No Shoes Nation reunion. Church is especially significant. These two have already proven they work together on a stadium stage, and their surprise Sphere reunion this summer showed there is still plenty of chemistry there.
Demand should be enormous if Church is officially part of the package. Chesney hasn’t mounted a traditional stadium tour since his 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour, spending the last two years focused on Sphere instead, while Church finished his Free the Machine Tour earlier in 2026 and just released “On The Road.” A Chesney and Church stadium reunion would give fans of both camps a very good reason to move quickly when presales open.
