This past Friday (9.23), rising country artist Chase Matthew took the stage at Skydeck on Broadway in downtown Nashville to perform for a hometown crowd of more than 1,600 fans.
Marking his first headline show in Music City, fans were treated to passionate and energetic renditions of Matthew’s top hits, including “We Had It Good,” “Still Got My Truck” and “County Line,” which recently became his first RIAA GOLD-certified single. Matthew also performed two unreleased songs to give attendees a sneak peek of what’s to come – including a moving performance of “She Loves Jesus,” featuring his mother and grandmother on background vocals.
Last Thursday (9.22), the Tennessee-bred newcomer was surprised with his RIAA GOLD-certified plaque for “County Line” in a special moment with his father on WSMV’s Today In Nashville. Watch it here: wsmv.com/video/2022/09/22/chase-matthew-skydeck-broadway-friday-sept/
