For the past four years, Spin Magazine has asked musicians to give their insights on how the upcoming NFL season will shake out, and this year they asked Craig Campbell to weigh in.
A native of Lyons, Georgia, the longtime Atlanta Falcons fan is predicting a playoff run for his beloved team in a feature that included Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon, Melissa Etheridge, Alice Cooper, Bret Michaels, Michael Buble and others. Read the predictions HERE.
“I think it’s gonna be a great season! I’m particularly interested in keeping up with the Colts seeing as they have a legit QB1 now,” he told Spin. “As it is every year, my hopes are for the Falcons to make the playoffs.”
Campbell is excited about the The Falcons’ addition of quarterback Marcus Mariota, saying, “I have a feeling he’s gonna flourish under (head coach) Arthur Smith.” Though he did admit his Super Bowl match up prediction will be the LA Rams against the Kansas City Chiefs…with the Rams winning again.
