One of the top-grossing trios of all time, The Dixie Chicks, now known as simply “The Chicks” were flying high all through the late 90’s-early 00’s until one unfortunate incident sent their career careening into oblivion. Now we’re years past that, and the girls are proving that the music is more powerful than politics as they embark on a The Chicks World Tour!

ABOUT THE CHICKS:
The Chicks, formerly known as the Dixie Chicks, are a Grammy-winning country music trio hailing from Dallas, Texas. Comprising Martie Erwin Maguire, Emily Erwin Robison, and Natalie Maines, they gained fame in the late 1990s with their refreshing blend of country, bluegrass, and pop. Known for their outspokenness and empowering anthems, The Chicks have produced hits like “Wide Open Spaces” and “Not Ready to Make Nice.” Despite facing controversy, they remain influential figures in the music industry, inspiring fans with their bold music and unwavering resilience.
Dixie Chicks Rules!!! Woohooo!
The Dixie Chicks backlash is so sad. They were celebrating free speech, Funny how everyone that hates on them does the same thing about President Obama!!
Wendy Choppin is an ignorant knucklehead. As an American , I and the Chicks will hopefully always have free speech including the right and responsibility to criticize our leaders whenever we, the people believe they are leading in the wrong direction. Our founding Fathers and many brave men and women have given their lives to assure us that right.
I’m afraid that if our founding Fathers could come back and see how some of us are so disrespectful of the right to question our leaders, they would be ashamed of us. Wendy Choppin needs to read the Bill of Rights and understand that the peoples right to question and criticize their leaders is one of the most important rights of a free people.
Wow her comment was never against the troops….
Dixie Chicks are the last band on this planet I would ever go see! Stay in Canada as far as I'm concerned. Stay out of America! God Bless our troops who fought and died for your freedoms.
