Country superstar Garth Brooks has been having one hell of a run on his world tour, but it looks like it’s not enough for him to just conquer the country scene. He’s taking over the 2018 Stagecoach Festival! It’s his third released date for next year, which also included two performances at RodeoHouston.
Billboard confirmed the announcement, although there has been no official word from the festival. Brooks has typically stuck to headlining his own tour stops. In fact, he’s exclusively done just that — the magazine reports that Stagecoach will be the first time he’s every played a dedicated music festival (he made a surprise appearance at CMA Fest in summer of 2017).
Dates for the 2018 Stagecoach Festival are April 27-29 in Indio, Calif. Shania Twain was the surprise artist in 2017, although Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley helped round out an impressive three night bill. The lineup is traditionally announced in September.
