WhiskeyChick’s Take
The lineup makes room for established draws and the roots-oriented artists building serious audiences. Camping adds another way to make a weekend of it, but pay attention to the geography: Cal Expo is separate from Discovery Park. Price admission, lodging or camping, and transportation together before deciding which package works for you.
Check GoldenSky’s official options and plan your Sacramento weekend around October 9-10. Daily artist assignments and set times should be confirmed as the festival releases them.
