Red dirt legends Jason Boland & The Stragglers have shared the lineup for their inaugural music festival, Camino Real, scheduled for August 31-September 1 at the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX. The two-day festival will feature headlining performances by Boland, as well as emerging Americana artists  Vandoliers, Waylon Wyatt, Blaine Bailey and, Texas country staple Matt Hillyer. “People are drawn to different areas for different reasons,’ explains Boland. “I made my first pilgrimage from Stillwater, OK to Gruene Hall to watch Asleep at the Wheel and was changed forever. Standing on the wise wooden boards with my mind blown and heart revived, I began the dream of a festival that would take place in a vital organ of country music. Camino Real is that vision coming into focus.”

Last month, Boland released ‘Live From Cain’s Ballroom,’ an eighteen-song, career-spanning collection recorded at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s iconic venue. The band is currently in the midst of their extensive 25th Anniversary Tour with upcoming stops in Springfield, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Greeley, CO; Knoxville, TN; Fort Smith, AR and more.

For the past 25 years, Jason Boland & the Stragglers have dazzled audiences all over as one of the leading ambassadors of the Oklahoma and Texas music movement. Millions of fans cheering him on, over 500,000 records sold independently and ten studio albums later, Boland is a career musician whose legacy continues to grow.
