For country music fans who love the stories behind the songs, Las Vegas is the place to be this August! The first-ever Las Vegas Songwriters Festival is bringing 50 award-winning songwriters and 100 live performances to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from August 21-24, 2025.
This one-of-a-kind festival gives fans an intimate, up-close look at the creative minds behind country’s biggest hits, featuring live performances, storytelling sessions, and exclusive Q&As with the industry’s most legendary songwriters.
A Lineup of Country Music’s Most Iconic Songwriters
The Las Vegas Songwriters Festival will showcase some of the most celebrated songwriters in country music, including:
Bob DiPiero (American Made – Oak Ridge Boys, Southern Voice – Tim McGraw)
Dean Dillon (Tennessee Whiskey, The Chair – George Strait)
Liz Rose (All Too Well, Tim McGraw – Taylor Swift, Girl Crush – Little Big Town)
Victoria Shaw (The River – Garth Brooks, I Love The Way You Love Me – John Michael Montgomery)

The event, hosted by Matt Warren (Darius Rucker, Gary Allan), was founded by Entersong Entertainment’s Rob Hatch and Mike Every in partnership with MGM Resorts International.
The Ultimate Songwriter Experience
Not only will attendees hear legendary country songs performed by the very people who wrote them, but they’ll also get a rare chance to hear the backstories behind the music. Songwriters will share the inspirations, struggles, and behind-the-scenes moments that led to their biggest hits.
