Old Dominion, who started their adventure in a van and sense of adventure, have always believed in changing things up, keeping it real and looking for new ways to bring their music to life.

After spending 2023 headlining arenas around the country, the 7-time and current Academy of Country Music/6-time and reigning Country Music Association Group of the Year wanted to mix it up with other bands, different vibes; rather than return to the same sold-out venues, the band of songwriters and musicians decided to hit the festival circuit for 2024.

“You forget how much fun all-day shows can be,” lead singer/guitarist Matthew Ramsey says. “It’s different kinds of music, but everyone’s coming for the fun. You get to go places you might not otherwise, and you fall into that lets-have-a-blast together mentality. Because you’re with friends you never get to see, and fans who love this music like crazy. It’s an awesome kind of experience.”

Old Dominion kicked off their year across the Atlantic, headlining the C2C Festival in Berlin, Rotterdam, Belfast, Glasgow and London, then returning to headline three nights at Key West’s Coffee Butler Amphitheater. Along the way, they’ve headlined the IHeart Country Fest in Austin alongside Jelly Roll and Jason Aldean, the sold-out Carolina Country Festival in Myrtle Beach, SC and the sold out Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood, NJ.

Beyond that, there was the advance sell-out at Colorado’s legendary Greeley Stampede, that set up both the rodeo and 4^th of July weekend. They made a West Coast run of Santa Rosa, CA’s Country Summer Music Festival, the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, CA., plus Watershed Festival in George, Washington.

And they didn’t forget the Midwest, touching down for a sold-out, cut short for weather Porter County Fair in Valparaiso, IN and Ashley for the Arts in Arcadia, WI. They also co-headlined the very first XRoads 41 — alongside Brooks & Dunn and Journey – in Bethlehem, PA.

Loving music like crazy is OD’s calling card. After all, collectively Ramsey, Brad Tursi, Trevor Rosen have written big hits for Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton and the Band Perry, they understand what makes songs connect with people’s lives. When you add in their whip smart rhythm section of Geoff Sprung on bass and Whit Sellers on drums they’re a band that delivers good vibes.

With a headlining show at Dakota State University’s Brian Kern Family Stadium in Madison, SD, the almost sold-out Rise Up Foundation Splash into Country Music Festival in McHenry, IL and the PGA LIVE Fest in Naples, Florida, Old Dominion’s year is anything but over.
