The country crowd is taking a walk on the wild side this Labor Day weekend.
Country Music On Tour founder Shauna “WhiskeyChick” Castorena is heading back to Pryor, Oklahoma for Rocklahoma‘s 20th anniversary. The three-day festival runs September 4-6, 2026, with a Thursday Night Throwdown kicking off the party on September 3.
Three-day tickets and camping passes are still available, but the premium squeeze has already started. Several VIP tiers and ready-to-go RV packages have moved to waitlists, while glamping is listed with limited availability. If you have been waiting for a sign, this is it.

Country roots with the amps turned all the way up
Rocklahoma is built for hard rock, but Friday’s lineup has plenty of grit for country fans who like their songs loud, loose and a little dangerous. Tim Montana brings a blue-collar blend of country storytelling and heavy guitars. Dexter and the Moonrocks blur alternative rock with Western space-country attitude. Black Stone Cherry has spent years pouring Southern rock muscle into arena-sized songs.
Yelawolf’s Southern rap catalog, Molly Hatchet’s classic rock swagger and the Cowboy Cup competition widen that country-adjacent lane even further. Then the full weekend turns up the pressure with Godsmack, Papa Roach, Slayer, Stone Temple Pilots, The Pretty Reckless, Dropkick Murphys and dozens more across three stages.
The schedule makes Friday the easiest entry point for country listeners, but a three-day pass includes the entire weekend plus Thursday night’s kickoff concert.
The campground is half the show
The concerts may bring people through the gate, but the campground is where Rocklahoma becomes its own temporary town. Fans build lounges, stages, bars, pools and wildly decorated gathering spaces. Music and mayhem keep moving long after the official headliner leaves the stage.
This year, WhiskeyChick and Ump are joining Camp Mardi Gras in the VIP campground. The fan-built camp returns for its 12th year with purple, green and gold decor, a pool, campground hospitality and a Friday night Masquerade Afterparty. It is exactly the kind of community that turns first-timers into Rocklahomies.

A two-festival preview for Oklahoma country fans
Rocklahoma also offers a preview of the festival grounds before Born & Raised brings the boots back to Pryor less than two weeks later. The sister event runs September 17-19 on the same property with Justin Moore, Tracy Lawrence, Gavin Adcock, Muscadine Bloodline, The Red Clay Strays, Shane Smith & the Saints and more.
The music changes, but the landscape does not. Rocklahoma gives fans an early look at the entrances, stages, campground rhythm and sheer scale of the property before Born & Raised takes over. For Oklahoma festival diehards, September is shaping up as one long, loud season in Pryor.

General admission and standard camping are still on sale for BOTH festivals as of August 11. GA camping accommodates a camper or a car-and-tent setup on a 20-by-40-foot site. Festival admission and camping are sold separately, so make sure both are in your cart if you plan to stay on the grounds.
