Shane Smith & the Saints have announced a fall tour in support of Norther, their critically-acclaimed new album. Beginning September 14th in Chesterfield, MO, the tour will take the five-piece through the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, Great Plains, and East Coast, wrapping in the Southeast in late November.
In 2024, the band sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre for their second year in a row. In 2023, they sold out Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium well in advance, marking the first time they headlined the legendary venue. Other previous sell-outs include Chicago’s Thalia Hall, Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club, Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom, Asheville’s Orange Peel, Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, and many more.
Local pre-sales begin today, and tickets go on sale Friday, June 14th at 10 AM local time. See a list of upcoming tour dates below.
Norther, released on March 1st via Thirty Tigers/Geronimo West Records, marks Shane Smith & the Saints’ first record in five years. The album’s 13 tracks feature exceptional songwriting, compelling narratives, and passionate performances. The band – comprised of Shane Smith (acoustic guitar/lead vocals), Bennett Brown (fiddle), Dustin Schaefer (lead guitar), Chase Satterwhite (bass), and Zach Stover (drums) – showcases the full spectrum of their eclectic blend of country, Southern rock, folk, and honky-tonk. Norther has received high accolades from the press (see highlights), including an in-depth feature in Rolling Stone and the band’s network television debut on CBS Saturday Morning.
With four independent albums and over a thousand live performances under their belt, Shane Smith & the Saints have built a continuously rising career. Their hard-earned success is built on a dedication to their die-hard fans, constant touring, electrifying concerts, quality musicianship, and a blue-collar work ethic. Earlier this year, the quintet made their Grand Old Opry debut and taped an episode of the Emmy Award-winning PBS series The Caverns Sessions for its new season.
