The Dixie Chicks are poised for a major comeback with their 2016 DCX MMXVI World Tour
With 40+ Dates in near as many states and a few cross-country jaunts along the way, The Dixie Chicks aren’t just aiming for a comeback tour. This is more of a nationwide takeover!
The Dixie Chicks 2016 tour kicked off June 1st in Cincinnati, covering most of summer 2016, with a few select dates in September and October. These North American shows follow some European dates which were previously announced.

This is the first Dixie Chicks tour since their limited run in 2013 (The Long Time Gone Tour) and certainly the girls’ biggest undertaking since the unfortunate incident that knocked them out of the good graces of country music. By the time this new tour begins, it will have been exactly a decade since the Chicks headlined their own tour in America. Back in 2006, they spent the second half of the year promoting their just-released album Taking The Long Way, which would go on to be one of the most highly-praised and yet controversial records in memory.
