The Grand Ole Opry Turns 100 in 2025


The Grand Ole Opry, the heart and soul of country music, is hitting a major milestone in 2025 — its 100th birthday! The year-long celebration kicks off on January 3rd with a series of star-studded performances at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Big Names, Big Shows!
The first show on January 3rd will be led by legendary Opry member Bill Anderson, joined by CMA Musicians of the Year Charlie Worsham, Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie McCoy, Craig Morgan, and more. The celebration continues with shows on January 4, 10, 11, and 17.

On January 10th, Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, and Steve Wariner will light up the stage. Henry Cho and Lainey Wilson take over on January 11th, while comedy and music collide on January 17th with Gary Mule Deer.

A Walk Through 100 Years of History
The Ryman Auditorium will also unveil a special exhibition on January 3rd, giving fans a closer look at the Opry’s century-long journey. From its humble beginnings on WSM radio in 1925 to becoming one of the most iconic stages in country music, the exhibit will showcase rare photos, legendary artifacts, and multimedia displays. Visitors will see highlights from country greats like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, and more.

More Surprises in Store!
The celebration doesn’t stop in Nashville. The Opry will host special performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall this fall and promises more shows than ever before throughout the year. Plus, Grammy-nominated artist Shaboozey will make his Opry debut on January 18th. Fans can also snag exclusive “100 Years of Grand Ole Opry” commemorative merchandise.
