Recently named one of “5 Black Artists Rewriting Country Music” by The Recording Academy, Sony Music Nashville (in association with The Penthouse) artist Willie Jones is taking his Louisiana-bred version of country soul on the road for select shows in support of Music City’s anticipated professional baseball team, The Nashville Stars.
On Sunday, September 5, Jones performed the National Anthem prior to the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team taking on Canada in their home opener of third-round qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
