Willie Nelson will perform a series of intimate shows in March from his legendary Luck Ranch home as part of Luck Presents’ Spring Concert Series, marking the first time the artist’s own individual shows will take place at the venue.
Nelson is to perform in support of his upcoming album, A Beautiful Time, on March 20 and 26 and April 2.
The Spring Concert Series includes Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit with Danielle Ponder on March 18, followed by Shakey Graves & Friends on March 19, and Modest Mouse on April 29. Luck Presents’ Spring Concert Series is a welcome and overdue addition to the Austin-area music scene, providing music fans with one of the most unique live experiences in the country.
Luck Ranch is the “mythical” western town and movie set of Nelson’s 1985 film “Redheaded Stranger” located just outside of Austin, Texas. It now doubles as a venue space, best known for its “Luck Reunion” concerts featuring many of Nelson’s friends and fellow artists during South By Southwest.
