It’s about to be a country takeover at the historic running of the 150th Kentucky Derby! Today, Churchill Downs Racetrack announced that 5x Grammy Award-winning country music icon Wynonna Judd and emerging artist Lana Scott are set to perform during Derby weekend.
Wynonna Judd is fresh off her nationwide tour called “Back to Wy” and set to represent her home state of Kentucky by singing the national anthem at the 150th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Wynonna is the fourteenth major artist to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at the historic event which will take place just after 5:00pm EDT and be broadcast live as part of NBC’s Kentucky Derby coverage.
