Singer/songwriter/guitarist Zac Brown grew up in Dahlonega, GA, and performed as a solo artist for a number of years before founding the Zac Brown group in Atlanta in 2004, the group’s initial members also including John Hopkins (bass) and Jimmy De Martini (fiddle), with Coy Bowles (guitar, organ) and Chris Fryar (drums) joining later.
The lineup tours extensively, and has opened for the Allman Brothers Band, Etta James, B.B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Sugarland, Travis Tritt, and ZZ Top. The Zac Brown band self-released their debut album, Home Grown, on December 16, 2005. Live from the Rock Bus Tour came on January 3, 2007. The group’s third album, The Foundation, was scheduled for release on November 18, 2008. This would be the album that broke down all the barriers to worldwide success for the band. From there they began headlining major arenas and partnering with legends like Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett, carving a niche for themselves in country music that no other band could fit.

heyy there :)) just seen zac brown band in Scotland as a support act for Kings of Leon at Murrayfield Stadium, and absolutely loved them!! Got their album now… you should definitely come back to Scotland and do your own tour!! Would buy a ticket for that anyday 😀 thanks xx

My maid of honor asked me what I would like to do for my bachelorette party and I immediately told her and the rest of the girls that I would love to see you and the gang live if they tour to Texas. We would love to see you guys in the Lone Star State!!!! I’m in Denton but we don’t mind road trips matter of fact for a bunch of 30 somethings we live for our girl road trips so if you make it to the state you can beat we’ll be there!
