The Duo Will Then Hit the Road with Sara Evans for Her 2021 Blue Christmas Tour, Kicking Off Thursday, December 2 in Marietta, Ohio after making their Opry debut on November 20th
“Artist to Watch” (Sounds Like Nashville) Country music duo Everette — comprised of Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia —will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, November 20. Bringing their “high-energy grooves and airtight harmonies” (Billboard), the duo will walk into the hallowed circle and perform for the first time, showcasing their organic blend of “gritty rhythms with wavering harmonica and mesmerizing slide guitar” (Taste of Country).
“We both grew up in Kentucky admiring everything about the Grand Ole Opry as fans, and now, to have our moment to stand in the circle on that iconic stage and plug into the rich history as artists, it will be an experience like no other,” says Rupard. “We are so proud and honored to be a tiny part of the Grand Ole Opry history and story.”
Kicking off Thursday, December 2 in Marietta, Ohio, Everette will also be accompanying Country music superstar Sara Evans on her 2021 Blue Christmas Tour. Infused with Everette’s signature Rock-n-roll twang and bluesy acoustics, fans can expect to hear the duo’s just-released version of “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.” Putting their eccentric, honky-tonk soaked spin on the infectious, upbeat groove, it’s sure to put even the biggest Grinch in the holiday spirit. “2021 has been a wild year,” continues Olympia. “We’ve both added new baby boys to our families, we’re getting to have our Grand Ole Opry debut, and we’re excited to get back on the road supporting Sara Evans in December. Definitely a lion’s share of things to be grateful for come Thanksgiving!”
