Tyler Hubbard Announces His First Solo Tour…
“I’m going on tour with Keith Urban in the fall. I feel really supported by Keith – he’s been awesome along the way. I couldn’t ask for someone better to be out on tour with as we launch this solo stuff.”
Tyler Hubbard Recalls Struggling During The Early Days of Florida Georgia Line…
“We toured around for three years in an 15-passenger church van… There was very little fear, because we didn’t have a whole lot to lose. And there was a lot of excitement and lot of big dream, and a lot of just going for it… We had a degree from Belmont, and our parents were wondering what the heck we were doing. I remember being in the studio while we were recording “Cruise,” and we got back to the studio after lunch, and checking my bank account. I had $12 to my name, in my bank account, 12 bucks. Those were pivotal moments. Those were moments that made us who we were. It’s inspiring now. I do feel extra thankful and blessed to be where I’m at now, to be on this new journey, feeling like a new artist, and getting that new energy and excitement.”
Tyler Hubbard Describes The Weirdest Part of Being Solo After Being Part of a Duo For So Long…
“I keep finding myself [saying] “we” and “us.” I guess it’s not an “us” thing anymore. Who’s “we?” Who’s this other person? It was definitely a unique feeling for the first time in my whole career doing this creative process on my own and just leaning on friends and songwriters and my producer who is new as well.
