Corey Layne, organizer of the Welcome to the South Music Festival, is pleased to announce the music lineup for Saturday, November 6 in downtown South Pittsburg, Tenn. The outdoor event will be held in a field next to U.S. Stove Company between 4th and 5th street in downtown South Pittsburg. Gates open at 10 a.m. with the concert beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m.
- Kyndal Inskeep – 11 a.m. – 11:35 a.m.
- Brent Michael Wood- 11:40 a.m.- 12:25 p.m.
- Chase Wilson Band -12:35 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Dave Fenley – 1:20 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.
- Corey Layne – 2:25 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
- Texas Hill -3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Texas Hill is composed of Craig Wayne Boyd (The Voice/NBC), Adam Wakefield (The Voice/NBC) and Casey James (American Idol/ABC); Corey Layne a South Pittsburg native is a former contestant on The Voice/NBC, Dave Fenley (The Voice/NBC); Kyndal Inskeep (The Voice/NBC), Texas native singer/songwriter Brent Michael Wood and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Chase Wilson. Also special guest Jack Flute Holland will perform briefly before Texas Hill.
In support of the festival, Lodge Cast Iron has graciously donated products that can be purchased at the Lodge Store in South Pittsburg as giveaways that will be given away during the festival. The giveaways include:

Lodge Cast Iron has been manufacturing heirloom-quality cookware crafted for durability and versatility and accessories in South Pittsburg since 1896. The giveaways will be announced twice during the day after Brent Michael Wood performs and after Corey Layne’s performance.

Adventure Off Road Park and Nature Center (AOP) in South Pittsburg has more than 500 acres of land, with over 120 off-road trails rated from mild to extreme. This off roader’s paradise is in the mountains of South-Central Tennessee, right in between Kimble and South Pittsburg also has primitive camping, RV hookups, bathrooms, and showers, a pavilion, dirt track, obstacle course and the Battle Creek Beach.
Festival organizer Corey Layne says, “We are excited to bring this caliber of live music to South Pittsburg. Rain or shine this event will go on and we hope everyone will come out and enjoy a fun day of music and good food. My goal is to produce this annually here and possibly other locations in the South.”
Tickets are only to be sold on the day of the event beginning at 10:00 a.m. The price is $20 per person and children 10 and under are admitted free of charge. Admission for healthcare workers, first responders, veterans and military (all branches) will be half-price with a valid I.D. Children 10 and under are free. It is advisable to bring your own chair or blanket for this event and to not enter with a cooler or alcohol. The event will have food trucks and other food options and beer will be sold at the SPARQ tent.
South Pittsburg is located just minutes from I-24 between Nashville and Chattanooga. Only 40 minutes from Chattanooga and two hours from Nashville, it is a quaint Southern town located at the base of the beautiful Cumberland Plateau.
