Singer/songwriter/guitarist Zac Brown grew up in Dahlonega, GA, and performed as a solo artist for a number of years before founding the Zac Brown group in Atlanta in 2004, the group’s initial members also including John Hopkins (bass) and Jimmy De Martini (fiddle), with Coy Bowles (guitar, organ) and Chris Fryar (drums) joining later.
The lineup tours extensively, and has opened for the Allman Brothers Band, Etta James, B.B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Sugarland, Travis Tritt, and ZZ Top. The Zac Brown band self-released their debut album, Home Grown, on December 16, 2005. Live from the Rock Bus Tour came on January 3, 2007. The group’s third album, The Foundation, was scheduled for release on November 18, 2008. This would be the album that broke down all the barriers to worldwide success for the band. From there they began headlining major arenas and partnering with legends like Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett, carving a niche for themselves in country music that no other band could fit.

Yes!!!! Anywhere in Washington State – We LOVE YOU! The Gorge would be the best venue you have ever done. Put your “Toes” in the Columbia River, you will be “Knee Deep” in salmon, take the “highway 90 (20) drive to “Where the Boat Leaves From”..
Zac you are awesome…. make a stop in Seattle PLEASE
I grew up in SC so I am definitely a southern girl (American by birth and southern by the grace of god). I know good music when I hear it and dude, your music touches my soul, moves me in ways that i didn’t think i could move and has completely changed me. My husband Tom and I have traveled ah many ah miles to see you perform. The concert just gets better and better. We don’t care what city you are in, we will get there if at all possible. One spot we would love to see you, would be a place to put your toes in the water and your ass in the sand, Sunny Sanibel Island Florida. Great little island. Hope to see you there soon!
Ontario, Canada needs you! We have the “Colder Weather”, we just need the music to go with it! You are a hit up here, Havelock Jamboree could use you in August!!!!
